Women's Caucus

About Us

Established in the summer of 2009, the Florida College Democrats (FCD) Women's Caucus has grown in both membership and influence across the Sunshine State. As a state-wide organization, our main objectives include:

• To establish and maintain a presence within our College Democrat chapters and on our campuses.
• To raise awareness about women's issues through educational forums and political activism.
• To establish and maintain a working relationship with other women's organizations across the state.

A main mantra of the FCD Women's Caucus is to think globally and act locally. With that said, we understand that women's issues transgress beyond our local campuses-- which is why we strive to build connections with both on-campus and off-campus organization.

The personal is indeed political; and we hope you agree. Join us as we do big things for women and girls in our cities, State, and around the world.
