Hispanic Caucus

The mission statement of the Hispanic Caucus is: to inspire, unite and sustain the hopes of the Florida Hispanic community, engage in a coversation for change, and stand to create a unified presence for all Hispanic American college students of Florida.

The FCD Hsipanic Caucus will support and train the next generation of Hispanic leaders.

The FCD Hispanic Caucus will organize canvasses, voter registration drives, town halls, and information sessions.

The FCD Hispanic Caucus will host civic programs with the Hispanic community. As one of our aims, the caucus will work to change the attitudes of the Hispanic community towards civic engagement with the goal of increasing their involvement in the democratic process.

The FCD Hispanic Caucus will develop and disseminate progressive proposals on a range on important policy issues that concern the Hispanic American community.

The FCD Caucus will inform the community about the Democratic Party as well as the strong bonds that the Democratic Party has had in the past with the Hispanic community. And as the Hispanic community takes part of the democratic process, the caucus will make sure they know where does the party stands on the issues of their concern.
