20 Reasons to Support the Florida College Democrats
- Over 50,000 Floridians were registered by FCD members, working with OFA, to vote since 2008.
- Several hundreds of students used the FCD-sponsored Yes We Van program as transportation to the polls in 2010.
- Florida’s Governor has been held accountable for his actions on Rick Scott Watch – an FCD social networking iniative on Facebook and Twitter.
- Internship openings for campaigns are constantly being filled by students guided by FCD referrals.
- The FCD brought the largest student delegation from across the country, represented by seventy-eight students and six chapters, to the 2011 CDA/DNC Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C.
- The FCD proudly maintains the student Women’s, Hispanic, Black, LGBT, and Environmental Caucuses.
- FCD students are continuously participating in a number of Awake the State rallies and progressive gatherings.

- In light of the recent voter suppression bill passed by the Republican-controlled Florida Legislature, the FCD has been hard at work to preserve and promote vote-by-mail.
